Therapy sessions can be expensive
Depression is a mental health problem that causes people to experience low mood, loss of interest or pleasure, feelings of guilt or low self-worth, disturbed sleep or appetite, low energy, and poor concentration. When talking to people with depression I find out that therapy sessions can be expensive, and that is one of the main reasons why many people with depression do not try to get help. Mental health providers in many cities charge roughly $75 to $150 per 45 minute session, while rates in New York City can be upwards of $200.
After talking to user's, I created this hypothesis: A platform that would allows users to record emotions and thoughts. User's could also share emotions and thoughts with their therapists.
